That's not true. KDE4 applications (like Konqueror, Kopete, KMail, ...) will still use KDE4's kwalletd, part of kdebase4-runtime.
If they can coexist it is fine, but does it make sense to have kwalletmanager (without 5) installed on a fresh installed plasma 5 installation?
Maybe, maybe not, depending on which applications you use. We do still install KDE4 applications by default. AFAICS kwalletmanager and kwalletmanager5 conflict because they install the same icons, the rest doesn't seem to overlap. Should be "fixable", I suppose.
