I was running openSUSE 10.3 on the same system with updates, the drive was working fine and I backed up my data to it. I decided to repartition and reformat my laptop, and soon after installing 10.3, tried plugging in my drive to copy back my data, and its not even being seen. The LED comes on but that's all. I noticed though that when booting dbus complains that user gdm not found. I dunno if this has any effect.
