I'm not familiar with any reverse tunnel mechanism currently available to be setup in a basic OpenSUSE install. I came across autossh because I wanted to put a machine at my parent's house behind a NAT router that I could admin. I tried via ssh -R and it was a unmitigated disaster. autossh is easy to setup / use. And could likely be controlled via a simple yast2 interface. Seems like exactly the sort of remote manageability that will allow linux to grow outside the reams of Linux experts. FYI: I think Debian has it in all of their releases: http://packages.debian.org/search?keywords=autossh -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
