Funny thing was... i could not reproduce the issue for a few days - everything worked fine. I'd been doing the "dhcpcd wlan0" for weeks perhaps without needing to do so. However, i was only switching between my home and work wifi. Since then I've connected to other networks and the problem as arisen again. I've attached my /var/log/Networkmanager file. I'll try and do what you proposed bellow. regards, Carlos (In reply to comment #4)

Hi, i suffer from this problem as well. Occurs 90% of times when switching between my work and home connection. The fix is deleting resolv.conf and reconnecting as Craig mentioned but running "dhcpcd wlan0" also does the trick.
I'm running opensuse 12.1 with kde 4.8 and all possible updates.. but this occurs since day 1 with the "stock" 12.1.
regards, Carlos The NetworkManager use dhclient to got the DHCP configuration. After you delete the resolv.conf do you still reproduce this issue?
If so, could you kill your NetworkManager and run 'NetworkManager --no-deamon' in a terminal, then try to reproduce this issue, after the dhcp finish it'll show the ip address and DNS information. After that it'll update the DNS to resolv.conf by netconfig.
Do you find some error? Or just attach you terminal's log here. Thanks!
