http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=628454 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=628454#c0 Summary: HPLIP Printer driver for HP Business Inkjet 1200 does not work Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Final Platform: x86 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Printing AssignedTo: jsmeix@novell.com ReportedBy: swesemeyer@hotmail.com QAContact: jsmeix@novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1.11) Gecko/20100714 SUSE/3.5.11-0.1.1 Firefox/3.5.11 After setting up the printer and trying to print a test page, the printer simply stops printing with various LEDs indicating some error status. Only solution is to switch the printer off and restart it. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.set up printer (using an lpd printer server) 2.print test page 3. Actual Results: printer goes into an error condition Expected Results: a test page should be printed I have an OpenSuse 11.1 install as well which will happily print to that printer. Same for a Fedora 12 install. It's just the latest OpenSuse 11.3 installs (on 1 PC and 2 laptops) that are not able to print. I have also tried the latest available HPLIP packages from the opensuse buildservice http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Printing/openSUSE_11.3 with no success. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
