In my last iteration of this bug ( I was asked to resubmit) I provided a lengthy list of thin client hardware from manufacturers all using the TK-3350 as a base. A quick google search on tk-3350 will back me up. At least 6 of which were suppliers in Europe. Here is one http://www.liscon.com/ VIA provides this motherboard technology to many of it's partners take a look, http://www.via.com.tw/en/products/embedded/partner_products.jsp?applications=2&categorys=16&company=86 I have been told that opensuse ordered one from disklessworkstations.com the US provider and that it did not come, I am begging you please either purchase one of these and do some testing or let me ship one to you. This products base is huge due to its 199.00 sticker price long before HP and Wyse got there. I understand that there may be some resistance to financing education based solutions like LTSP due to the low return on investment, however I can assure you that educators are more than willing to purchase SLED at the prices listed for education and I myself would be a huge proponent of a server package based on SLED that included thin client technology. I am ready to buy and so are many others. Ubuntu may have the "free" version of this technology cornered but a lack of a phone number to call is still a drawback to many of my peers adoption of Linux , A problem Novell doesn't have! -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
