https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=488867 Summary: missing dependencies on X update Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: X.Org AssignedTo: bnc-team-xorg-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: bluedzins@wp.pl QAContact: xorg-maintainer-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com Found By: --- missing dependencies on X update Till now I had installed X server from the disc + maybe some security updates only. Today I decided to update X server to most recent version, so I selected x server package and clicked to update it. I didn't interfere with any automatic dependencies, so everything what I did, was following yast. Anyway, surprisingly, there were very few dependencies, and all of them out of xorg-*. After restart, instead of KDE I get grayed out (checkboard pattern) screen and that's it. I had to kill it, run yast in console, and update everything in xorg-* packages. After that, I get KDE back. So obviously, some dependencies are missing. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
