They work well with a little workaround. The creating process of a new VM
What creating process? virt-install (the default) or the optional vm-install?
Today I tested it again (a new fresh complete install with the additional virt. repo) and now it works correctly (install over virt-install and vm-install)!
starts only correctly when I release a connect to localhost before. If I don't do that I'm not able to create a new VM.
Just to clarify, you must close your 'localhost (xen)' connection in virt-manager before virt-install (or vm-install) will work? If so, what errors do you get? Please provide output of ~/.virt-manager/virt-manager.log when reproducing the problem.
No, the problem was that I must create the first connect to localhost manually and then I can install a new vm. But now it works... although I don't no why. But I have/found another problem. When I create a new vm over vm-install (opensuse 13 template, pv and installation over local media (e.g. dvd)) and I tried to disconnect the cd/dvd-drive in the vm settings after finished the vm can't start again... or did the vm need the cd/dvd to run correctly? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
