"grub.cfg" tries to load using "linux" and "initrd" instead of "linuxefi" and "initrdefi". I originally installed factory to use grub2, booting from "/boot". However, my intention was to boot from the 13.1 boot menu on the same computer. That has been working fine. With today's update to "shim", I decided that I should install it and switch over to using the factory boot menu for all booting. I mounted the EFI partition at "/boot/efi", and added that to "/etc/fstab". I next used Yast Bootloader, and switched to "grub2-efi". I set the "Distributor" to "factory" to avoid conflict with the NVRAM entry for 13.1. The grub2-efi install seemed to go well. On reboot, I got the one-time screen to agree to using the opensuse key. But then it failed to boot. I had to revert to using the menu from 13.1 to boot the system. I've repeated the call to grub2-efi, with the same result. There is no line GRUB_USE_LINUXEFI=true in "/etc/default/grub". I expect that if I add that line, it would generate a correct boot menu.
