The same errors occurred. I'm attaching the new user xsession-error, syslog, ps ax, and screenshot as well. Notice, the screenshot was what the screen looked like after login. (I moved a dialog to put it in the middle, but that was it) The xsession-error, syslog and 'ps as' capture the state of the session. Something is definitely messed up. In the syslog, you can see there was a gvfs-fuse error 23 seconds (before) the new gnome session. It looks like the gvfs-error tripped a memory check on the fglrx driver and then then new session started at 17:54:30. I don't know what the rest of the stuff means, but I do know it adds up to a messed up gnome session. Let me know what else I can send.
