https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=769904 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=769904#c0 Summary: Can't locate Pod/Usage.pm during kernel update Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.2 Version: Beta 1 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Bootloader AssignedTo: jsrain@suse.com ReportedBy: schuetzm@gmx.net QAContact: jsrain@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:13.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/13.0.1 During update from 12.2beta (don't know from which date exactly) to current 12.2 (pre-release) with zypper dup, I'm getting an error message "Can't locate Pod/Usage.pm". At the end, however, zypper doesn't report any problems. After reboot, grub2 still has the old kernel entries in its menu, which of course it cannot boot. (This is probably the same as bug #730179, been asked to open a new bug here. Please see the test cases attached to that bug.)
