http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=544666 Summary: make hangs with -j 2 but not with -j 1 Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Development AssignedTo: pth@novell.com ReportedBy: sledz@zone42.org QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Opera/9.80 (Windows NT 5.1; U; de) Presto/2.2.15 Version/10.00 I'm using openSUSE 11.1 as build host for OpenEmbedded. When using parallel make to speed the building in some bitbake recipes make freezes (100% use of one CPU), with -j 1 everything works fine. This behaviour looks very much like https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?15919 Until now i do not have a simple example Makefile to reproduce the behaviour. The samples for the mentioned bug do not have the problem at my system. :( Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
