Today there was an upgrade to 252.2-2.1. To me it seems the problem disappeared. Can anyone confirm?

For me today's update made it worse, black screen after suspend and hibernate, switching TTY doesn't have any effect. Downgrading to systemd-252.2-1.1.x86_64 and performing a cold boot solved the issue, as described in comment 5.
