Both show a similar behavior. My testsystem is a FSC Primergy rx220 with Promise SATA Raid (Raid0). First I installed fedora 10 (x86_64) with a small bootpartition and a large LVM ( for swap and / ). After this I tried to install on the remaining disk openSUSE and SLES 11. In both cases it looked like I was able to create a new partition, but the new partition does not show up on the screen. I tried to find out in an alternate screen what had happened. But grub showed still an unchanged disklayout. So I allocated now a root partition with grub and rebooted the system. After this I could assign the root partition and start the installation. At least for this configuration almost everything works. I will do next week some tests with ESB2 and LSI firmware. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
