This happened to me since updating to recent snapshots, so it's a regression.
Then I had a laptop issue and reinstalled Tumbleweed 20181107 today.
The NetworkManager segfault still occurs randomly. I also don't know how to
reproduce, it happens randomly. Today it happened about three times.
The visual symptoms are that suddenly I get disconnected from the Wifi. Then
the Plasma applet displays the list of Wifi networks again, disconnected. When
I try to connect to my home network it asks for password again.
I also had other symptoms earlier where clicking on "Connect" just cleared the
whole applet and I had to reboot to make it work again.
- OS: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20181107
- NetworkManager-1.14.0-1.1.x86_64
- glibc-2.27-6.1.x86_64
- kwallet is configured in blowfish mode
- plasma5-workspace-5.14.2-1.2.x86_64
Sadly I forgot to setup systemd to have persistent journal, so I'll keep an eye
for more info.
As far as I remember the message looked similar to the one from Roman above.
@Roman, do you also have kwallet enabled in case the problem is related ?
