The Xorg log is attached. The startup of the X11 server ends producing a series of identical lines: (EE) intel(0): Failed to submit batch buffer, expect rendering corruption or even a frozen display: No such device. My acer TravelMate 6292 is equipped with a GM965/GL960 onboard graphics controller. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Boot the computer 2. 3. Actual Results: The system finishes by showing a black screen with an arrow-shaped curses. The latter can be moved by my finger on the touchpad, but nothing else happens. The screens with line mode can be used.
