https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=345576 Summary: Compilation error on the openssh package Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: 32bit OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Network AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: paternot@snap.com.br QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- I donwloaded the package "openssh-4.6p1-58.src.rpm" from "http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/10.3/repo/src-oss/suse/src/". First, just to make sure it would compile, I issued a "rpmbuild -bb openssh.spec", on the "/usr/src/packages/SPECS" directory. It correctly complained about some -devel packages, and I installed them via Yast. And, them, I found a real problem. The compilation fails, with the error "mkdir: cannot create directory `/var/tmp/openssh-4.6p1-build/usr/share/man/man1': File exists". So far, I found part of the problem: someone, don't know who, creates the copyright warning as the file "/var/tmp/openssh-4.6p1-build/usr/share/man/man1". Then, when the install script tries to create the directory "/var/tmp/openssh-4.6p1-build/usr/share/man/man1" it fails - for obvious reasons. I will include two files: one is the exit of my shell (shell.txt), and another is the file wrongly created (file.txt). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
