"xlock -d" displays a lot of whitespace and at the right the weekday. The other infomation (date and time) are not displayed. 2.) "xlock -d -norender" displays the whole string, but too much whitespace at the top and at the bottom. 3.) "xclock -d -norender -padding 1" displays too much whitespace at the top.
