Install kdegraphics3-imaging-3.5.7-60.i586.rpm if not done already 2. Open a jpeg-file containing a portrait image with Kuickshow. exiftool shows the following tags for such an image:
exiftool img_0850.jpg [...] Orientation : Rotate 270 CW (or Rotate 90 CW) [...] Auto Rotate : Rotate 270 CW (or Rotate 90 CW) [...] Exif Image Width : 2272 Exif Image Length : 1704 [...] Image Width : 2272 Image Height : 1704 [...]
Kuickshow shows the picture in landscape orientation -> Error! The thumbnails in Kuickshow's filebrowser or in Konqueror are (correct) rotated - they are shown in portrait orientation. 3. Workaround: Rebuild kdegraphics3 from kdegraphics3-3.5.7-60.src.rpm without the better-exif.patch (comment out the patch in the .spec-file) 4. Test of the workaround: Install the new-built kdegraphics3-rpm. The new-built kdegraphics3-imaging is not needed. Logout, restart X/KDE. Open the same jpeg-file as in 2. -> Kuickshow shows the picture in portrait orientation -> OK! -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
