https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=664795 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=664795#c3 --- Comment #3 from Bruno Friedmann <bruno@ioda-net.ch> 2011-01-15 16:33:06 UTC --- After further digging, I've found a workaround. NM adds entries in /etc/hosts which breaks the resolution. Now I've a working /etc/hosts with the good alias in place and apache2 start without any problems. cat /etc/hosts # # hosts This file describes a number of hostname-to-address # mappings for the TCP/IP subsystem. It is mostly # used at boot time, when no name servers are running. # On small systems, this file can be used instead of a # "named" name server. # Syntax: # # IP-Address Full-Qualified-Hostname Short-Hostname # 127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost c-3po ical mycw # special IPv6 addresses ::1 localhost localhost6 localhost6.localdomain6 ipv6-localhost ipv6-loopback c-3po ical mycw fe00::0 ipv6-localnet ff00::0 ipv6-mcastprefix ff02::1 ipv6-allnodes ff02::2 ipv6-allrouters ff02::3 ipv6-allhosts ----------------------------- NM have added 127.0.0.2 c-3po c-3po.vellerat.ioda.net and 192.168.103.131 c-3po.vellerat.ioda.net ? beuh ... I will check next reboot ( enough for today :-) ) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
