Eclipse isn't even on the DVD5, and eclipse-jdt.rpm from FACTORY requires an almost complete Eclipse installation including the GUI, which is unacceptable for a non-development machine. The workaround by using the Java SDK compiler via Ant (copy ant.jar and ant-launcher.jar to the Tomcat lib directory) doesn't work either. Tomcat (or ant?) then sets JAVA_HOME to java.home, which points to the JRE: Unable to find a javac compiler; com.sun.tools.javac.Main is not on the classpath. Perhaps JAVA_HOME does not point to the JDK.
