Using YaST I added repo http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Kernel:/openSUSE-11.3/openSUSE_11.... Selected 2.6.34.2.2 for all installed kernel options, wound up with new entries in grub menu instead of the kernel upgrade, actually YaSt considered it a down grade. Also the Nvidia driver would not work with 2,2 (using Nvidia nvidia-gfxG02-kmp-default-256.35_k2.6.34.0_12-14.1.x86_64 x11-video-nvidiaG02-256.35-15.1.x86_64 Re installed 2.6.34.3 Still cannot power down.
