https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=277300 Summary: Allow the user to re-arrange kickoff's tabs by middl- click and drag Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Alpha 4 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: sven.burmeister@gmx.net QAContact: qa@suse.de In 10.2 Kickoff had the tab-order: favourites, history, ..., applications. If ound this very useful since both, favourites as well as history are shortcuts to the applications I use most often and hence should have the shortes way. Only if the application cannot be found in those two tabs, the user had to take the long way to the applications-tab. In build-service's KDE packages as well as 10.3 alpha the application-tab took the place of the history-tab. There are users who like this more than the original order, so it would be useful to make the order of the tabs more flexible. This can be done in a way that does not need any GUI and is consistent with kicker itself. If the user wants to re-arrange items on kicker itself, one can click on them with the middle mouse-button and move them. The same could be done for kickoff, i.e. the user middle-clicks the tab and moves it to the position it fits one's needs best. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
