Finally, the display freeze withing 10 minutes after startup, looks to have
been trouble shooted as a hardware failure. Ran a Dell hardware analyze tool,
which discovered a difference between write to and read from video memory.
Replaced the Quadro FX 550 video card, and so far two days after the failure
has not arised again. Sorry for the inconvenience.
