I am not talking about creating a symlink, I am talking about not removing it. There is no mention of adding any new functionality, it's about undoing the regression. 'zast' existed right up until openSUSE 13.2. Judging by the zypper example I gave, some people consider such a symlink quite useful, hence it was added to zypper. I don't have access to bug#885655, but I presume it has the reasoning for the new 'yzpper' symlink.
