http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=949751 Bug ID: 949751 Summary: Installer should mark ESP partition as such in expert mode Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Factory Version: 2015* Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation Assignee: yast2-maintainers@suse.de Reporter: fbui@suse.com QA Contact: jsrain@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- Hello, Running the partitionning tool on TW in expert mode in order to create my custom partition layout. I added a new partition /boot/efi (would be nice to be able to select /boot BTW) to be used as ESP. I assumed that the installer would detect this and would automatically use the appropriate typecode for ESP since there's no way to manually select the typecode of a partition manually. However it selected "0700" which means "Microsoft basic data" ! Fortunately my system booted just fine. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
