Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE.org Version: unspecified Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 12.2 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: 3rd party software AssignedTo: opensuse-communityscreening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: lundgren@byu.net QAContact: opensuse-communityscreening@forge.provo.novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:19.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/19.0 I created a new user on my existing machine to get a pristine MATE environment. I logged into the new account and the system seemed sluggish. I opened top and found that caja was spinning at 100% cpu. When I searched the internet I found reference to a problem with a missing thumbnail directory. I created that, but it did not help. I ran strace on it and found that it was looking for a default background file. I opened the background tool and found that it thought that the default background file was not present. It is present however. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.create an empty user on opensuse 12.2 updated to the latest revs. 2.login 3.look at top to find cpu high. Actual Results: caja sucking up cpu Expected Results: caja running quietly and happily. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
