I used an m2t file. What was actually needed was a lot of excess space in the home directory. This because the program does not cut at all. It creates a huge clone of the original m2t file and does not honor any indication on what to cut and what to save. There is after the start a long period without output in the CLI window. Then he claims your file is ready. There are no errors or whatever in the cli, just a lot of volume in the final file. I told to create a intial 10 minutes section of the file and the program created instead a kind of clone of the original file of the size of 3 GB. So I guess when I had the 20 GB or so available to work, while working it stopped at 66 because home was full (I did not have a warning though, this is a bit odd). I now freed largely enough space to be sure that does not occur (about 56 GB free). It does seem to reach 100% and an output but still it produces these uncut "clone" outputs. But good news, no mpv error. And good news, it does open the source file. Actually, seems strange but I see not activity of vidcutter in "top" at all, until in the end it suddenly reappears in "top" hierarchy and saves. I would have expected to grab all available cpu resources instead? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
