and more complex (require more community votes) for branding change. (and Novell agreement too)
About Novell agreement. How is the current new chameleon artwork in complience with this?
That is, the SuSE chameleon was changed several times from SUSE 7.0 to 10.0 releases, so I believe this could be changed with new artwork in new release
My conclusion: SuSE/Novell was not very professional in branding the products. There is a big gap between other operating systems / distributions.
I think that stopping branding modifications completely is wrong, and it will result in ugly artwork *and* branding.
How does the latter match to stopping modification? Only in the very long run if the design is good. Since this is a community the votes will change over and over about different artwork.
I believe the rules must define acceptable way for brand evolution, as it occured from SUSE 7.x to the 10.x series.
Does SUSE/Novell have a protocol for this? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
