There is latest version: https://build.opensuse.org/package/view_file/Apache/apache2/gensslcert Run without parameters, it creates: /etc/apache2/ssl.key/$(hostname -f)-server.key /etc/apache2/ssl.key/$(hostname -f)-ca.key /etc/apache2/ssl.csr/$(hostname -f)-server.csr /etc/apache2/ssl.crt/$(hostname -f)-ca.crt /etc/apache2/ssl.crt/$(hostname -f)-server.crt for me without any complaint.
