https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=333708 Summary: SaX2 refuses dual card setup Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: SaX2 AssignedTo: ms@novell.com ReportedBy: estellnb@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Other SaX2 recognizes both graphics cards correctly:
SaX2 -p Chip: 0 is -> ATI 3D Rage IIC 215IIC 00:10:0 0x1002 0x4756 PCI fbdev Chip: 1 is -> ATI Rage 128 RF 01:00:0 0x1002 0x5246 AGP ati
Chip 0: plugged into PCI slot Chip 1: plugged into AGP slot It is possible to invoke SaX2 for each graphics card using SaX2 -c 0 SaX2 -c 1 even though the VGA-out of PCI-Chip0 will always stay dead. In a fact SaX always accesses AGP-Chip1 but nonetheless seems to believe that it speaks with PCI-Chip0 when invoked with -c 0, because it claims that no 3D-Acceleration is available for PCI-Chip 0. To me it looks like a device node access problem, which may have been caused by device renamings introduced with OpenSuse 10.3. I can not remember this having been a problem any time befor (has worked with OpenSuse 10.2). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
