https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=395564 Summary: NetworkManager / openvpn: cannot correct wrongly entered password Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: RC 1 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Network AssignedTo: tambet@novell.com ReportedBy: seife@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de CC: hschaa@novell.com Found By: Development I wanted to connect to openvpn setup (setup as in https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=394754), entered my password and checked the "remember the password for this session" box. The message i got was "The connection was closed unexpectedly" (or similar), so i tried again. After a few tries, i looked in /var/log/messages and found, that May 29 21:02:38 stoetzler nm-openvpn[27217]: AUTH: Received AUTH_FAILED control message May 29 21:02:38 stoetzler nm-openvpn[27217]: SIGTERM[soft,auth-failure] received, process exiting I then had to kill the keyring daemon to be able to enter the password again. This looks like there is still room for improvement in the user experience ;) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
