http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=496741 Summary: Today's security update wants to install opensuse-manual_en-pdf Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Update Problems AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: robin.listas@telefonica.net QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- Created an attachment (id=286974) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=286974) yast logs and solver test case User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.8) Gecko/2009032600 SUSE/3.0.8-1.1.1 Firefox/3.0.8 When running YOU (qt version, inside gnome) tonight, in the “installation summary” I see it wants to install "opensuse-manual_en-pdf - openSUSE Manual (English) as PDF", which was not previously installed. WHY? No patch is declaring this package, AFAICS, and I don't see why a security patch needs to install the system documentation, unless RTFM is a requirement since tonight
:-)
Even after disabling the three patches, the manual still wants to be installed. I will attach the screenshot of the “Filter: installation summary”, “Filter: patches”, and the solvertestcase.
