https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=850530 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=850530#c6 --- Comment #6 from andreas bittner <abittner@abittner.de> 2013-11-16 18:32:36 UTC --- update verify against 12.3/x64/goldmaster testinstalled via usbkey right immediately upon first logon into kde4 desktop, immediately going to yast2 and then even directly into dsl config, with all the local ethx network cards still completely unset to anything, there I can add a dsl -> pppoe device, it then complains about selecting a network card, brings up the separate network config dialog, i just pick any ethx card and select no-ip/bonding config there, then it returns back into dsl/pppoe config, select a provider there, enter some fake username/pass then select e.g. dialondemand, and then it returns to the dsl-config main overview panel and there it immediately displays this dsl0 entry there, and then i select okay finish, and it then immediately writes all those /etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg-dsl0 and ifcfg-ethx files to the disk oh yes and somewhere inside this procedure, there is also the installation of the usually missing smpppd package from the usb-key lsmod doesnt show pppoe modules loaded though, maybe this happens later during real initial xdsl pppox connect or something, didnt try yet so something is definitely broken in 13.1 :(((((( -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
