https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=700573 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=700573#c0 Summary: hard to control on_xend_start option Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.4 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Xen AssignedTo: jdouglas@novell.com ReportedBy: wolfgang@rosenauer.org QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Community User Blocker: --- (found no better wording for the summary ;-)) When I want to control the on_xend_start option via virt-manager or virsh that doesn't work as expected (xend and guests are running at this point). Using virt-manager I can toggle the autostart flag and apply it. This works correctly (=the option in config.sxp is changed). But afterwards when I revisit the virt-manager guest gui the option is again turned off while in config.sxp it's still "start". Now when other changes are made to the VM config in virt-manager and applied then virt-manager sets on_xend_start ignore again apparently because it didn't recognize the enabled flag and apparently saves what's reflected in the gui. If the current status of the option is not reported correctly by xend or not recognized by libvirt I don't know. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
