Last good message is "device-mapper: ioctl: 4.14.0-ioctl (2008-04-23) initialised: dm-devel@redhat.com" and after that it misses all logical volumes used for that installation. The previous KOTD 20090528143544_a0eed6e8 still works fine and boots without problems. So the problem seems to be caused by that change: * Fr Mai 29 2009 teheo@suse.de - Update config files to enable DEBUG_BLOCK_EXT_DEVT on all configs except for vanilla and ppc/ps3. - patches.suse/block-add-mangle-devt-switch: block: add genhd.mangle_minor parameter (fate#305584). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Install KOTD 20090529053712_5246824c on 11.1 with parts of it installed on LVM 2.Try to boot 3. Actual Results: The boot fails, because logical volumes in /dev/system aren't setup Expected Results: The kernel should setup the logical volumes as before -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
