After 15 minutes again the computer powered down. Now I restarted and added the max_cstate=1 parameter: tweedleburg:~ # cat /proc/cmdline root=/dev/disk/by-id/ata-ST31000528AS_9VP4NRNQ-part1 splash=silent quiet vga=0x31a processor.max_cstate=1 tweedleburg:~ # Because I have a very modern computer: tweedleburg:~ # hwinfo --cpu 01: None 00.0: 10103 CPU [Created at cpu.301] Unique ID: rdCR.j8NaKXDZtZ6 Hardware Class: cpu Arch: X86-64 Vendor: "GenuineIntel" Model: 6.30.5 "Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 860 @ 2.80GHz" Features: fpu,vme,de,pse,tsc,msr,pae,mce,cx8,apic,sep,mtrr,pge,mca,cmov,pat,pse36,clflush,dts,acpi,mmx,fxsr,sse,sse2,ss,ht,tm,pbe,syscall,nx,rdtscp,lm,constant_tsc,arch_perfmon,pebs,bts,rep_good,nopl,xtopology,nonstop_tsc,aperfmperf,pni,dtes64,monitor,ds_cpl,vmx,smx,est,tm2,ssse3,cx16,xtpr,pdcm,sse4_1,sse4_2,popcnt,lahf_lm,ida,dts,tpr_shadow,vnmi,flexpriority,ept,vpid Clock: 1200 MHz BogoMips: 5586.84 Cache: 8192 kb Units/Processor: 16 Config Status: cfg=no, avail=yes, need=no, active=unknown In 15 minutes we should know more. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
