For the difference against this issue, the DMA doesn't have problem on pdc202xx_new. Currently don't know how to fix it in pata_pdc2027x, for a simply way to workaround this issue is use pdc202xx_new. The problem on openSUSE installation DVD is hwprobe removed from linuxrc but BrokenModules can't replace it.
