Local scanning works fine. [saned] bail_out: all children exited scanimage -L on server shows: scanimage -L device `hpaio:/net/HP_LaserJet_3055?zc=hp2' is a Hewlett-Packard HP_LaserJet_3055 all-in-one Package versions are: hplip-hpijs-3.13.10-1.1.i586 hplip-sane-3.13.10-1.1.i586 hplip-3.13.10-1.1.i586 Above setup used to work fine when server was running opensuse 12.3 (of course the rpm packages were different versions) and client was opensuse 13.1.
