All I did was run the official updates that were pushed last week. =/ I only
suspect that one since I image it was responsible for getting rid of the geecko
status image - no clue what could be causing it to not shut down when
hibernating.
This weekend I got a new laptop, put openSUSE on it, and updated. It has the
exact same issue that the old laptop did, so it's not a hardware-specific
problem. To clarify, it resumes completely fine - I don't lose any data, so the
Hibernate succeeds. The only problem is there's no progress indication, and
the computer doesn't turn off.
By the way, I forgot to mention there's a bit of graphical tearing when X
resumes (white or red across the screen, depending on the laptop, on the black
background), but it only lasts a second.
I found pm-suspend.log, but it doesn't indicate any errors besides a
NetworkManager problem. Are there any other logs that might help?
