I use xrandrtray applet for this, which works well for the desktop and any application inside windows : the screen is correctly displayed on de videoprojector. But when I start the OO Impress presentation, the image is translated on the right so that a part is missing. It is still worst when I switch to 800x600 where a big part of the picture is missing. It seems that impress still produce a picture for the initial resolution of my screen, whatever xrandrtray has configured... If I don't change the resolution of my screen, I can see all the picture but as my screen is wider than the standard screens, the image on the videoprojector is compressed on the horizontal direction. This bug appears with the latest update of OpenOffice.
