Hmm, you should better ask the vendor whether the battery requires lower power consumption, just to be sure you do not damage (unlikely..., but still) any HW. -> pretty sure a BIOS issue. If the limit gets activated at boot time, then there might be a fix in the latest kernels and 11.1 and also 11.0 should work for you soon.
