Please figure out first if you can find a s2ram setting which works for you.
Thanks.
Refuses: machine is unknown. The quirk I need is unloading graphics mode. Not available, AFAIK. I have added a script to /etc/pm/sleep.d/ to switch to text mode (chvt 1), which might work for the closed source nvidia driver. Not tested yet (I'm afraid to loose work in progress atm). Stefan, this report is for hibernation. The S2ram quirks won't help here, because it's not the problem of getting the display backlight back.
I didn't say anything about the backlight, this machine is a desktop with a real CRT display (at the moment). I think that is listed in the SMOLT report cited in #0. The problem is that a) with the nv driver loaded, it locks X. b) with nvidia driver it only works in text mode. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
