From an email I sent to the factory list after upgrading to Milestone 5. ======================================================================== Audio works only on 1 out of 3 boxes so far tried. Installed on all of them. # rpm -q alsa-plugins-pulse alsa-plugins-pulse-1.0.20-6.1
5386 ? S<sl 18:39 /usr/bin/pulseaudio --start --log-target=syslog dmesg on all says repeatedly but audio OK only on one. ALSA sound/pci/hda/hda_intel.c:1179: Too big adjustment 32 ALSA sound/pci/hda/hda_intel.c:1179: Too big adjustment 32 killing the PID's for pulseaudio and /usr/lib/pulse/gconf-helper, they get restarted when I start to play a Youtube video. I think the newer version of pulseaudio is worth a try, it can't wreck 0.9.15 and may just be the answer. So my vote is for - hang the freeze, get it on. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
