http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=527757 Summary: Thinkpad makes three beeps instad of one when suspend-to-disk Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Milestone 3 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: SuSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: Mobile Devices AssignedTo: mobile-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: pr@grueninger.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Opera/9.64 (X11; Linux x86_64; U; en) Presto/2.1.1 Thinkpads beep when they woke up from suspend-to-disk (works, one beep) and beep, when they finished wish suspending to disk, to signal the user that he can start working / unplug the laptop. With opensuse 11.2 Factory 1, 2 and 3 my Thinkpad T400 beeps three times when suspendig to disk. And the moon LED is glowing between the first and the second beep. It seems, that someone tells the laptop that is suspenden (1. beep), than it recognizes that that wasn't true (2. beep for wake up) and finally it beeps the third time correctly. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Boot on a Thinkpad, maybe only T400 2. Go to suspend-to-disk 3. It will beep three times Expected Results: Beep only once, when the system finished the suspend-to-disk -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
