I notice first that the firmware shipped with OpenSuse12.1 is not the newest. THe 12.1 CD gives Version 17.168.5.1 while 17.168.5.2 is already available. With EITHER firmware iwconfig recognises the device as 802.11bgn, but iwlist wlan0 scan cannot detect my "n"-networks. The card connects without problems to the b/g networks. Note: modprobe correctly receives the option 11n_disable=0 to enable "n" networks. The card is recognised as such (see ifconfig output) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install OpenSuse 12.1. Optional: upgrade firmware for card to 17.168.5.2 2. Configure wireless network 3. Search for available wireless networks Actual Results: iwlist wlan0 scan detects only b/g networks, but no "n". Expected Results: Connect properly to an "802.11n" network. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
