the 32bit support is meant mainly for runtime.
these are for sure nu runtime packages, are they ??? xorg-x11-devel-32bit glibc-devel-32bit
actually there are only about 60 *-devel-32bit packages and I'm not really sure they are of too much use.
beleave me, I'm using them and there _are_ usefull -- and they would be even more usefull with *.pc files !!
And why do this anyway when it's so easy to just run "build" and set up a complete 32bit environment without any of these hacks in a chroot system.
a) because you don't know our software build model ? in short, this won't match our setup at all... b) because it's much easier not to have a 2nd fullblown 32bit system hanging around just for chroot to link some few 32bit libs -- that's total overkill and YAH (yet anouther headage) to automatically maintain/update/... c) really need more ??? I really wonder why you are argueing around strange workarounds (which may make sense in some areas, but are not the solution for the universe and everything) instead of trying to fix a broken setup (aka missing pc files). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
