Can you copy the corrupted file and attach it? It might be helpful.
Unfortunately I cannot since the condition is temporary. In the middle of a .c source file (on XFS), I got binary material.
So the damage is not permanent at this point?
For the .c source files, apparently yes, as the kernel broke compilation later after a reboot, and ultimately succeeded.
