https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=705223 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=705223#c0 Summary: Chromium - Icon's need to be placed in hicolor not in oxygen Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Factory Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.4 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: nmo.marques@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/535.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/14.0.792.0 Safari/535.1 SUSE/14.0.792.0 According to [1] and [2] some users are having problems with Chromium icons from the openSUSE:11.4:Contrib. I've digged up this situation and found out that Chromium is installing the icons on a non-standard path (in the oxygen icon theme). I'm not the one to question what people are smoking but, anyway we could have the icons installed on the STANDARD path, which would be hicolor so that everyone is happy with Chromium fancy icons? Oxygen icon theme is not compliant with GNOME, and GNOME users don't use it. Please fix this as it's most annoying and kills and awesome package.
