https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=754852 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=754852#c0 Summary: Missing requires/recommends in amavisd for unpacking archives Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.1 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: openSUSE 12.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Network AssignedTo: varkoly@suse.com ReportedBy: suse-beta@cboltz.de QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: Beta-Customer Blocker: --- Starting amavisd on a fresh 12.1 install brings up some warnings about missing decoders in the log. At least some of them are available as packages - you just need to add a Requires or Recommends for them ;-)
amavis[21254]: No decoder for .F tried: unfreeze, freeze -d, melt, fcat amavis[21254]: No decoder for .arc tried: nomarch, arc
None of them seem to exist as package in 12.1
amavis[21254]: No decoder for .lzo tried: lzop -d
Package "lzo" only creates liblzo2-2, but no binary :-(
amavis[21254]: No decoder for .7z tried: 7zr, 7za, 7z
package "p7zip" in 12.1 OSS
amavis[21254]: No decoder for .tnef tried: tnef
package "tnef"
No decoder for .deb tried: ar
/usr/bin/ar is part of the "binutils" package Please add Requires: or Recommends: for those packages.
amavis[21254]: No decoder for .lha tried: lha
package "lha" in Contrib - unfortunately nobody moved it to Factory yet :-( (Nevertheless adding a Recommends won't hurt and will help people using the Contrib repo.) Besides that, amavisd can use altermime which is also in Contrib - might also be worth a Recommends: -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
